i didn’t know that. i guess that explains a lot lol. katy has a pretty distinct, if somewhat basic, style that i always love.

It was NOT written by Katy Perry, it was written by Jessie J and  Lukasz Gottwald, Claude Kelly, and Bobby Ray. These writters have also written with Katy Perry and the producer of the song (Dr. Luck) has also worked with Katy. That’s why it sounds like Katy’s song.
